OSHA – 40 Hours HAZWOPER Online Live Learning

This online HAZWOPER course provides 40 hours of training on OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) standards. The course satisfies training requirements outlined in OSHA standard 29 CFR Part 1910.120, which requires workers to complete HAZWOPER training before starting work at an uncontrolled hazardous waste operation.

Why This ?

  1. HAZWOPER training prepares cleanup and emergency response workers to operate safely during a variety of scenarios involving hazardous substances. This training covers policies, practices and procedures that reduce the risk of injury and illness related to harmful exposures on the worksite.

This Course is Suitable For?

  • new to uncontrolled hazardous waste or emergency response operations are required to complete 40 hours of HAZWOPER training. This includes general site workers (such as laborers and equipment operators) and on-site management and supervisors.

Course Duration

The 40-hour HAZWOPER certification remains valid for 12 months. To maintain your certification, you are required to complete an 8-hour HAZWOPER Refresher course each year. If you miss the deadline, you may be required to retake the 40-hour course.

Is the Qualification Recognized ?

Workers must have 40 hours of initial training and at least three days of supervised field experience before they are allowed to enter the site. The online course meets the standard requirement of 40 hours of initial training. The required 8 hours of hands-on training can be completed by a qualified instructor

Exam

All module quizzes require a score of 70 to proceed forward in the course. The final exam also requires a minimum score of 70 to receive a certificate of completion. The final exam may be taken three times if necessary.

Delegates are awarded the Certificate on successful completion
